Now anyone can create their own emojis to show their mood. The possibilities are nearly endless—from angry devil faces to strawberry sloths.
You Can Never Have Too Many Emojis
Friendly smileys have long been a staple of our daily communications. But even with more than 3,600 emojis to choose from, you often can’t find the right character.
That problem just got easier to solve: Google launched a tool that lets you make custom emojis to express any emotion. You can build anything—from a basketball avocado to a strawberry sloth.
How to Create Your Own Emoji Mashups
As the Daily Mail reported, open Google Search on your computer and type in “emoji kitchen.” At the top of the results you’ll see a row of bold emojis and a blue button labeled “Cook.” Click it and the emoji creator will open.
To build a mashup, click the emoji in the upper-left corner of the screen to pick your first element. Once you’ve chosen it, click the emoji in the center at the top of the screen to select another. A combined version will appear in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Google also includes a “Randomize” option if you’re stuck for ideas. To use your creation, click it and copy it to your device’s clipboard. Paste it into messages as a sticker to surprise your friends.

Daily Mail journalists tried the tool and created five quirky combos, including an angry devil, a strawberry sloth, a fantastic alien, an avocado with a basketball pit, and a cheesy tiger.
Most Popular Emojis
The tool launched shortly after musicMagpie published its list of the top 10 emojis. The two-hearts icon came out on top, with 45% of respondents saying it makes them feel warm.
Other top picks included several heart-themed emojis: the “heart-shaped suit,” “red heart,” and “smiling face with hearts.” The list also featured the “kissing face,” “winking face,” and “smiling face with open mouth and tightly closed eyes.” Rounding out the top 10 were “person with folded hands,” “fire,” and “rolling eyes.”
