Creamy Baked Eggs with a Cheesy Crust

  • Eggs – 4
  • Sour cream – 2 tablespoons
  • Cheese – 50 g (about 1.8 oz)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Place a spoonful of sour cream in small baking pots and crack two eggs into each. Season with salt and black pepper.

Pour boiling water into a deep baking dish and set the pots inside so the water comes halfway up their sides. Bake for 15 minutes at 180°C (350°F).

Remove the pots from the water bath and place them on a baking sheet. Add the remaining sour cream to each, sprinkle grated cheese on top, and bake for an additional 7 minutes at the oven’s highest setting, until a golden crust forms.
