This quirky yet harmonious structure resembles a fantastical four-legged creature in a twisting pose.
The complex will rise in Shenzhen—a bustling metropolis in southeast China. It will house 23,000 employees of Tencent Helix, the team behind the multifunctional app WeChat.
The designers say this original project will integrate into the future business district in Qianhai Bay. The building, made up of four twisted towers, will serve as both the headquarters and main office for Tencent Helix. The skyscrapers will emerge from a shared multifunctional space called Vortex Garden.
The architects say the complex will be roughly twice the size of Apple Park in California.
What Will the Tencent Helix Headquarters Be Like?
The tech company hopes this bold architectural move will become a landmark for the area. The complex will consist of four towers of varying heights, with the tallest reaching 153 meters.

The developers plan for the landscaped Vortex Garden between the towers to give employees a variety of places to relax and recharge. This space—with glass and open terraces, sports and educational facilities, a fitness center, a conference center, and cozy nooks—will be the heart of the complex.
On the ground floor, the Urban Forum will be lush with greenery and include restaurants and shops, helping integrate the office complex into the surrounding city, Dezeen reports.
