Easy Chicken Curry Sauce

A table covered with many plates of food

Curry Sauce 1.1 lbs ground chicken (or minced chicken); 1 onion, finely chopped; 2 cloves garlic, minced; mushrooms; 1 mushroom bouillon cube; curry powder (about 1 tsp); salt and pepper (red pepper optional); water; 2 tbsp sour cream

Sauté the finely chopped onion and minced garlic — the aroma will fill the kitchen. Add the ground chicken and cook until it turns white. Pour in enough water to just cover the meat, or add more depending on how many people you’re serving. Add the spices: curry powder (no more than 1 teaspoon, or the color may shift away from a delicate yellow), salt, pepper, and the mushroom bouillon cube. Cover and simmer. Stir in 2 tablespoons of sour cream during the last 5 minutes of cooking (about 20 minutes total). Traditionally served with spaghetti, it also pairs wonderfully with any noodles or rice. It looks tempting, and the taste is even better.
