Tesla CEO Elon Musk has opened a new 24-hour Tesla Diner on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. The two-story spot seats more than 250 people and includes a charging station and cinema screens.

Tesla describes it as a “retro-futuristic diner with electric vehicle charging capabilities.” The establishment blends modern technology with retro design and spans two floors. Visitors who want to linger can catch a film on one of the two LED mega screens.

Tesla says the diner in Hollywood serves as a Supercharger station, a classic American diner, and a haven for drivers.

The Daily Mail reports the site has the world’s largest urban Tesla Supercharger station.

The main service area is on the lower level, while the upper level, dubbed Skypad, offers views of Los Angeles and a movie-watching experience. Guests at Tesla Diner are served popcorn by the humanoid robot Optimus.

Visitors can place their order in advance or when they arrive using the car’s touchscreen, or they can dine inside.

What’s on the Menu?

Musk has been dreaming of this retro diner concept since 2018. The menu is organized into six sections: breakfast, burgers and sandwiches, kids’ meals, sides, desserts, and beverages.

Kids can choose from options like a grilled cheese sandwich ($9), a kids’ burger ($13), or a chicken tender combo ($13), all served in a Cybertruck box.

Main dishes at Tesla Diner include:

  • Egg Sandwich: $12
  • Breakfast Tacos: $11
  • Tesla Burger: $13.50
  • Hot Dog: $13
  • French Fries: $4
  • Salad: $10
  • Slice of Apple Pie: $12
  • Chocolate Chip Cookie: $5
  • Soda: $4

Before heading home, visitors can stop by the souvenir shop to pick up exclusive merchandise. Items include a Tesla Bot figurine, a Hollywood Retro Diner t-shirt, Tesla gummies, and a signature trucker hat.

Although the diner opened only a few days ago, it has already caught the attention of social media users, many of whom are eager to visit.

However, not everyone is thrilled. “I feel sorry for those living in the neighboring building… Now all they can do is open their window and face the back of the giant screen that’s been set up right in front of them,” one user commented.

Another user complained about the lack of vegan options: “I came with my family. The absence of plant-based options in a city like Los Angeles is just madness. Even the avocado toast has eggs, and the fries are cooked in beef fat. Unfortunately, we had to pass.”
