I really love it — I’m so fascinated by how it works that I could explain the process down to the molecular level in the middle of the night! It’s my mood booster — a little checkmark on my mental “to-do list”: I worked out, so the day’s bound to be great. I can’t remember whether I kept it up for a week after the hospital, but I definitely started exercising again. I cut the number of exercises, removed anything that would strain my back, and I’m certainly not using dumbbells right now. In fact, I’m only doing bodyflex at the moment. But I’ve spiced it up! I keep inventing new moves, swapping out ones that went stale, and adding exercises for the muscle groups I want to target. It’s so easy and straightforward! I spend no more than 20 minutes on it each morning, but it always lifts my mood and leaves my body feeling revitalized. Mornings feel brighter, my cheeks get a rosy glow, my eyes open wider… and my husband doesn’t even need an alarm clock. As he says, “I wake up wonderfully to your huffing and puffing!” :))
