5 eggs
5 heaping tablespoons of sugar
6 heaping tablespoons of flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder
5–6 small apples
vanilla sugar, powdered sugar for dusting
Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Gradually add the sugar, one spoonful at a time, while continuing to whip.
Continue whipping at high speed and add the egg yolks one at a time.
Add the vanilla sugar, then the flour (one spoonful at a time) and the baking powder.
Mix everything well.
Grease the slow-cooker bowl with oil.
Pour the batter into the bowl.
Arrange the peeled, thinly sliced apples on top.
Gently press them into the batter with a spoon.
Close the slow-cooker lid.
Select the Baking function and set the time to 50 minutes.
After baking, open the lid, let the cake cool for 7–10 minutes, and carefully transfer it to a plate.
Dust with powdered sugar.
