“Lazy” dishes are a godsend if you prefer to spend less time in the kitchen. A poured pie is one of them. Just mix the ingredients and grease the baking dish.
Ingredients for the filling: 6 eggs, 2 bunches of green onions, 30 g of butter, black pepper to taste, a pinch of salt.
Ingredients for the dough: 320 g of flour, 400 ml of kefir, 2 eggs, 50 ml of vegetable oil, plus more for greasing the dish, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, sesame seeds for sprinkling, salt to taste (since there will be salt in the filling, don’t overdo it).
Hard-boil the eggs (10 minutes). Cool, peel, and chop them. Mix the eggs with the chopped green onions, and add salt and pepper. Melt the butter and stir it into the filling.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
For the dough, beat the eggs, then add the oil and kefir.
Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar, then gradually mix them into the wet ingredients.
Grease the baking dish with oil and pour half of the dough into it. Spread the filling on top, then pour the remaining dough over it.
Sprinkle the pie with sesame seeds, cover it with foil, and place it in the preheated oven. After 20 minutes, remove the foil, brush the pie with oil or butter, and bake uncovered for another 20 minutes, until golden brown. The dough should be soft, and the filling fragrant.
Tip
There’s no single rule for when to grease the top of the pie, but experienced cooks recommend greasing the dough early and generously to get a denser, more golden crust.
