This pie doesn’t take much time or many ingredients, yet the result will exceed your expectations. Strawberries are good for the nervous system, vision, skin, bones, and digestion because they contain potassium, magnesium, folic acid, and antioxidants.
Ingredients: strawberries – 250–300 g; flour – 300 g (plus a little for dusting); eggs – 2; kefir – 200 ml; sugar – 200 g; baking soda – ½ tsp; vanilla – a pinch; vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla. Add the baking soda to the kefir and mix, then pour it into the egg mixture and stir again. Gradually add the flour to the egg-kefir mixture and mix until you have a smooth batter.
Grease a baking dish with oil and dust it with flour. Pour half of the batter into the dish, add the halved strawberries, then cover with the remaining batter.
Place the filled dish in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F). Bake the pie for 50–60 minutes and let it cool before serving.
Life Hack
If the top of the pie browns too quickly, lower the baking temperature slightly. Check for doneness by poking the pie with a toothpick; it should come out dry.
